I had never actually heard Alice Cooper (I think) till today in the car with an old tape on our way to Palmerston. Dad took me shoe shopping, I ended up getting leather boots, leopard heels and black heels. I love the song poison, and dad was telling me about an awesome Alice Cooper CD he had about being in a mental institution. We ordered it online because he finally has a visa but he was freaking out today that because when you order things online or by phone that because they take all the details including the cards number that they could take and steal all your credit… so anyway, I saw a blog with a fundamentalist Christian saying that Alice Cooper was NOT a Christian (even though he has publicly said he turned Christian in the 80s) so who is this person, Neil Cooper, to say that he isn’t Christian? apparently if Alice were Christian, he would not be in Rock and Roll. This is what really, really annoys me. How is Rock and Roll the devil? They make out like the message behind the music is evil and will make people turn into Satanists or something. Some of them take it too far like hating Harry Potter and calling it the devil, yeah..right, when the message in Harry Potter is that good prevails and that love is the strongest power in the universe which is the same message Jesus promoted right? so if anything Harry Potter is more Christ like than sinister. Some of them are so naive and closed minded.
They love quoting the bible to prove their points but then they always (like the one I read today) contradict themselves. This idiot was blatantly saying that Alice Cooper was a liar and was not Christian, usually when someone says they’re something, then they are. But then idiots like this person are judging people like Alice, and I thought judging was something they weren’t suppose to do, only God. New Age is the only sort of religion where they don’t pass judgment, and I thought that was that was the Christian’s jobs (to not pass judgment) With New Age you can believe what you like and typically this is something those fundamentalists would say is the devil or something, blindlessly forgetting that most New Age people believe in Jesus. Xmas, xmas, I see it everywhere. How hard is it to write Christmas? Oh, and that’s another thing that annoys me, why do atheists celebrate Christmas? I’m don’t believe what Jewish people believe so I don’t celebrate Hanukkah…
We saw Barbara and Grant in the book shop in The Plaza today, I was just with dad because Bridget was at school and mum was sleeping. That was weird and funny, out of all days and even all times there are in one day, we happen to be there at the same time.
