It was Dominique’s 17th yesterday but I only brought her present today, I got her a tee shirt that says “It’s all about me. Deal with it” and a unicorn by a wizard ordiment from that cool gift shop in the mall, I love that shop. It has such nice stuff, I love the fairys and I also love those fairy posters so mum brought me one and a magnet that has my name meaning. It says ” Exhibits strong emotions with an equality strong will. Possesses high ideals. Warm, tender and affectionate. Derived from the latin word ‘Laurus’. A symbol of victory and poetic genius in the classic world. For example ‘Poet laureate’ ” wee! They also have cool braclets for in the stone for healing, spirituality, good luck, and one for all the star signs. And then I got a Christmas CD.
Matt Damon won Sexist Man Alive, I’m so happy. I knew he was the Sexist Man Alive. George Cloony is turned on by Matt, which his comments like, he first knew Matt was sexy when he saw him wearing speedos in The talented Mr Ripley. And George especially loves Matt’s wholesome American smile, not to mention his package.
Had the English exam on Friday, it was ok. I did well in the essays, not sure about unfamiliar text. I have horrible hard Biology exam tomorrow, I was studying for it for the weeks leading up to it, but I haven’t studied for it since the English exam but I was so tired after that one I just wanted to have a break for the whole weekend. Oh well.
Update – Grandma and Grandad called before, just before Shortland Street started and said that Tatiana and Constantine the kids Sarah and Rob were adopting can no longer be theres because some of their extended Russian family decided to take them in. That’s sad, but then they were offered two other kids. One is a sixteen month baby girl who had no name which was sad but the good thing was that Sarah and Rob got to name her, Anastasia. Her brother Dominic is three. It’s good that they’re only young. Grandma said there going to send photos soon. Guttering though, flying back to Russia thinking your picking these children up and you can’t. They had to wait 8 weeks for the ones they thought they were getting, so if they had been able to take the first ones home, they would have been here for Christmas. So now they have to wait another 8 weeks for Anastasia and Dominic. I think Grandma said they’d be here January next year.
